Working with Neurodivergent Clients
At some point, I noticed that many of my clients are neurodivergent — even though I hadn’t set out to specialise in this area.

Perhaps it’s because I’m dyslexic myself, or because I’m the parent of a neurodivergent child. Either way, I understand the extra challenges and conflicts that neurodivergent people often face.

I enjoy supporting my clients as they find a balance between their unique personalities and the demands of the world around them, helping them navigate life in a way that feels authentic and manageable.
Adjusted Approach
I understand that traditional talking therapy can sometimes feel overwhelming for autistic and ADHD clients. Many neurodivergent individuals may benefit from a therapy approach that offers more structure and focus.

I am happy to discuss with you what can help you feel safer and more at ease during our sessions.

With neurodivergent clients, I often include work on understanding how their nervous system functions and developing self-regulation strategies to avoid both over- and under-stimulation.

I am not a medical doctor and cannot provide medical advice, but I have practical experience working with a range of neurodivergent profiles, including conditions such as PDA.
